Like us humans, pets, especially dogs, have a gut lining that keeps bacteria, toxins and allergens out.
However, a dog’s gut is more sensitive due to their diet and environment exposure, making them more prone to have Leaky Gut Syndrome.
Leaky Gut Syndrome is a condition caused by overgrowth of bad bacteria damaging the gut wall, creating gaps allowing toxins and allergens to leak into the bloodstream, leading to poor gut health causing bowel discomfort, resulting in diarrhoea, constipation, blood in poop, hard stool, bum scooting, and more.
